The Big Cypress ecosystem forms a largely undeveloped landscape in southwestern Florida. The ecosystem includes three major habitats: seasonally flooded marshes, forested wetlands and upland pine habitats, all of which are intersected by manmade canals.

Its beauty and sheer size makes it a perfect place to explore, to get back into nature and to see wildlife. Featured in many upon many TV shows, documentaries and films, it is truly a sight to behold and a blessing to explore. We like to call the Everglades a magical place, where you can relax, unwind and just be one with the very essence of its being.

It has been estimated that about 39 threatened species, 300 fish species, 50 reptilian species, 360 avian species, and 40 mammalian species exist within the Everglades. You may encounter some of the species along the way.
